Non-surgical facelift using an absorbable suture made of Polydioxanone (PDO). Threads are designed to subtly lift the facial features to reduce fine lines and wrinkles while encouraging collagen production for more volume in the treated areas.
There are several types of PDO threads, and each serves its own unique purpose. Depending on your aesthetic goals, PDO provider may use one or many thread types during your anti-aging treatment.
Smooth threads are placed under your skin in a hashtag pattern which brings back the lost blood flow to the area which will repair and tighten the skin. PDO smooth threads can be used to smooth wrinkles by replacing and adding collagen and elastin to damaged areas. Affect takes place as the thread dissolves and the body lays down new collagen, elastin, and fibrin.
Barbed PDO threads pull their weight (quite literally). The unique nature of these sutures allows the thread to latch into tissues during implantation. This results in a smoother physical lift, allowing the thread to efficiently pull loose, sagging skin that can accumulate in the lower parts of the face such as the jawline.

What can I expect before and during the treatment?
Before treatment starts, we go over the area of treatment and face mapping. Topical numbing agents and local anesthetic are administered to provide optimal comfort. Once the anesthetic has taken effect, your treatment will begin. The PDO threads are inserted via blunt tip needles, called cannulas. Once inserted into the appropriate layer of skin, they act as anchors as the skin is lifted upwards. Then, the excess threads are cut off.
How long do the barb threads last?
There is an immediate improvement seen after Thread Lift treatments with a visible lift in the areas treated. This will improve over a period of 2-6 months as new collagen grows between the threads and gives further lift and tightening to the skin. Lasting results reported 1 year depending on the area of treatment.
Injectable filler can enhance your lifestyle by helping you look and feel younger. It is the fastest-growing cosmetic treatment in the US. It is one of the most natural, non-surgical ways to create a refreshed, natural looking appearance that you will love. We offer Restylane® product lines to either restore volume to areas such as the cheeks or to augment lips.
When properly administered, injectable fillers do not require much downtime or recovery. Symptoms after treatment are not caused by the injectable filler products, but rather the injections, so you may have slight tenderness or bruising around the injection sites.
How Long Will the Results Last?
Lip fillers naturally dissolve within 6-9 months. This is largely depended on the age of the patient, their metabolism, the amount of exercise they do regularly, and the normal blood flow to the face. For example, someone who is young with a fast metabolism and more blood flow to the face will most likely burn through filler quicker than someone who is older. Filler placed in other areas of the face tends to last longer since they are not as mobile as the lips.
Will injections hurt?
Lip injections often cause swelling that lasts for about 48 hours. While we do everything we can to reduce the chance of bruising, it can happen and should be expected/prepared for. In general, discomfort is pretty minimal for most people. It’s a tough question to answer simply because everyones pain tolerance is different. Injections could feel like nothing to one person and like sharp pinches to the next. We do use a powerful numbing cream before every filler treatment to keep our clients comfortable.
PRF hair restoration therapy is a three-step medical treatment that involves injecting
concentrated plasma into the scalp. PRF, or platelet-rich fibrin, uses your body’s own stem cells to stimulate collagen production, tissue regeneration, and hair re-growth. Since PRF growth factors come from your own blood, the body more easily accepts the treatment and increases natural tissue regeneration. The tissue growth stimulates hair follicles, making them larger and healthier so they can produce thicker hair. Both men and women benefit from PRF hair restoration’s many benefits including: thinning hair, receding hairline and baldness (including small bald spots).
Microneedling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is an aesthetic procedure for the treatment of fine lines, acne scarring and improving the skin’s overall appearance. Using our skin’s own natural repair process results in a thicker dermis, softer wrinkles, and smoother skin. We use derma pen’s tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin to produce new collagen and elastin. We use topical numbing cream to assure there is no discomfort during this treatment. The procedure takes about an hour, but time varies based on what area is being treated. Microneedling with PRF is the same collagen induction therapy but with added benefit of using your own blood’s growth factors to stimulate new cell and new collagen growth.
What Is the Downtime?
Immediately after the treatment expect to look like you have a sunburn. This redness will last 2-4 days be depending on the person. After your skin is back to its normal skin tone you may notice some peeling/flaking. Gentle exfoliation can be resumed at this point to help speed up this process however, picking and scrubbing can result in undesired results or irritation. Follow the post-care instructions given by your technician.
When Will I See the Results?
Some clients may notice visible changes within a couple of weeks, while others may take a month or so to notice results. These results continue to improve up to 6 months after the treatment as collagen production takes time. It is recommended for most patients to receive a series of 3-6 treatments spaced about 4-6 weeks apart.
Whether your challenge is wrinkling, lack of elasticity or acne scars, PDO LIFT can help you achieve your goal.
